After leaving a huge city, it is incredible to see how much taller the trees are. It is a detail worth paying attention to.
I felt trapped by the skyscrapers that replaced the trees. Where I live now, it is nice to see trees taller than skyscrapers.
One of my greatest anxieties is climate destruction. I do not understand how those in power think it is productive to destroy the very land that keeps them alive. No climate means no money, after all. It is obvious that they suffer from erosion of the mind. Too much money and power will do that to you.
Resources are finite and slow to build. The aged tree has more character than the sapling. Aged wine has more body. Aged woods have more biodiversity.
If only we could tap into the memories of an oak. They hold a wealth of knowledge, like a centenarian grandparent.
